You can be almost anywhere in the world
and access your InfoChannel account and services without having
to make an overseas or long distance call to connect to the
Internet. InfoChannel Ltd., along with iPass software, offers
you this opportunity standard with all our plans. It is especially
useful for business travelers and any customer who may be
off the island.
Click here to find out how it works.

All you will need is an InfoChannel account
and the iPass connection software, that you should download
prior to traveling off the Island. You use your regular User
(login) ID and Password, and there are two versions of the
iPass software to choose from (as it applies to your computer).
The connection software is easy to use and
allows you to connect to the Internet from around the world
within seconds. There are additional charges for the use of
this service, which vary around the world. The software gives
you this information.
E-mail:
We recommend that you use our Web
Mail service while you
are travelling.
You will need to do so in order to send mail from your InfoChannel
address.

- Gain access to all Internet services such as e-mail and
the World-Wide Web.
- Receive only one bill for all Internet and iPass charges.
- Get better quality Internet connections with local calls.
- Dial into a local number wherever
you are in the world. There is a local access number in
almost every country.

iPass forms relationships with Internet
Service Providers around the world that have the highest quality
Internet access networks and that provide access in far reaching
locations. iPass provides software to InfoChannel that enables
these Internet access networks to be available to you. This
software facilitates a high level of security for your Internet
transactions.
When you travel outside of our regular service
area, you can dial into any of the worldwide iPass access
points using your iPass connection software. You will log
in with your regular InfoChannel user Login ID and Password.
Your authentication request will be encrypted and sent over
the Internet to your home provider's authentication server.
The server will check your information and send an authorization
response (or denial, if appropriate) back to the ISP you are
dialing into so that you can gain access to the Internet.
This process takes about five to ten seconds. iPass tracks
the time you are connected to enable your ISP to accurately
bill you for the services used.
This service
is brought to you
through our partnership with iPass
